8 large potatoes cut up
4 cups finely shredded cabbage
5 ounces butter, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Cook potatoes in a saucepan of boiling water for 10-15 minutes until tender. Drain in a colander. Melt half the butter in the same pan on high. Saute cabbage for 3-4 minutes on high, till tender. Return potatoes to the pan with remaining butter. Mash roughly. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
